Shares of Shakti Pumps zoomed 5% to hit their upper circuit of Rs 828 on the BSE today as the stock started trading on an ex-bonus basis from today. The company had announced a 5:1 bonus share issue for its shareholders. The company had announced November 25 as the record date for the purpose. After the implementation of the T+1 framework, the record date and ex-date are the same in most cases.
