RBI holds interest rates, with no hint of rate cuts

Shares of PTC Industries, an engineering component manufacturer, surged 4.3% to ₹11,550 in intraday trade on Monday, November 18, after the company reported a strong set of numbers for the September-ending quarter. This rise also ended a three-day consecutive decline for the stock. Total income stood at ₹80.79 crore in Q2 FY25, up from ₹60.28 crore in Q2 FY24.

Mohite Industries Ltd. has announced a sub-division or split of its equity shares. This means that each existing share with a face value of Rs 10 will be divided into 10 new shares, each with a face value of Re 1. The record date for this sub-division, which is the cut-off date to determine shareholders eligible for the split, will be announced by the Board of Directors.

The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 205 crore to acquire 280 acres of land for the development of Mamnoor Airport at Warangal, following a "No Objection" certificate from the GMR Group, which manages Hyderabad Airport. The Airports Authority of India will develop the airport for A-320 type of aircraft, with the state providing additional land free of cost.
