Regulated entities should prepare for higher expenses if the proposed framework by SEBI for recognizing SDPs is implemented, according to experts. On 22 October, Sebi released a consultation paper outlining a new framework that will allow recognized SDPs to act as intermediaries for content related to securities, provided they adhere to strict measures specified by the regulator.
