MicroStrategy Makes Record-Breaking Bitcoin Purchase, Bolstering Its Holdings to Over $37 Billion MicroStrategy has made headlines with its largest Bitcoin purchase to date, acquiring 55,500 BTC between Nov. 18 and 24 for $5.4 billion. The purchase, disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), was made at an average price of $97,862 per Bitcoin.

A draft law on cryptocurrencies is undergoing the process of adoption in Morocco, the governor of its central bank, Abdellatif Jouahri, said on Tuesday. Cryptocurrencies have been banned in Morocco since 2017, but the public continues to use them underground, circumventing restrictions. Bank Al Maghrib was also exploring a central bank digital currency, he added.
