Mizuho Financial Group Inc. plans to expand into India's venture capital and private equity market, targeting "financial sponsors" to offer a range of services, including wealth management, advisory, and loan capital. The Japan-based bank aims to start the initiative as early as next year, following a similar strategy to local and international lenders.
