Indian Metals shares up 10% on robust Q2 net profit, margin improvement

Shares of Motisons Jewellers turned ex-split on Friday, November 08, in the ratio 1:10. Following this development, the stock rose 5 per cent to the day’s high of ₹32.2 apiece. The company in mid-September had announced the stock split in the ratio of 1:10.In the previous trading session, the company’s shares closed at ₹307.

State Bank of India Ltd on November 8 reported 28% jump in net profit at Rs 18,331 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024. The PSU lender had reported net profit of Rs 14,330 crore in the year-ago period. The bank said its board has given approval for raising long term bonds worth up to Rs 20,000 crore through a public issue or private placement during FY25.
