India bond yield edge lower as US peers fall after Fed comments

Indian government bond yields declined, influenced by lower U.S. yields and comments from a Fed official about potential interest rate cuts. The benchmark 10-year yield was at 7.0872%, lower than the previous close of 7.1110%. U.S. yields also decreased after higher-than-expected inflation data. Market expectations for rate cuts have been pushed back.
