The NTPC Green Energy IPO garnered a subscription rate of 12 percent on its opening day, November 19, with investors subscribing to over 7 crore shares against the 59.3 crore shares on offer. Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) led the initial response, subscribing to 50 percent of their allotted 8.6 crore shares, amounting to 4.3 crore shares.
