China and Hong Kong stocks fell sharply on Friday with blue-chip CSI300 and Shanghai Composite posting their biggest single-day losses since Oct. 9, dragged down by big tech firms' disappointing earnings and investors' fears over U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's future policies on China. The Shanghai Composite index closed 3.06% lower at 3,267.19. The CSI300 index lost 3.1%.

Shares of eight Adani group firms plummeted on Friday after US prosecutors charged Gautam Adani with allegedly paying a $265 million bribe to Indian officials for favorable solar power contracts, with Adani Green Energy dropping 10.95% and Adani Energy Solutions tumbling 8.57%. In contrast, ACC and Ambuja Cements were trading over 2% higher even after falling in the opening deals.

Shares of NLC India climbed as much as 5 percent on November 22 after the company announced its emergence as the highest quoted (H1) bidder for the New Patrapara South Coal Mine in Odisha's Angul district. The designation follows the commercial coal block e-auction conducted by the Ministry of Coal on November 21. At 2:50 PM, NLC India's shares were trading 4 percent higher at Rs 263.

Newton School saw its revenues increase 1.5x going from Rs 16.84 crore in FY23 to Rs 24.06 crore in FY24. At the same time its net losses narrowed 40% from Rs 82.66 crore to Rs 49.74 crore during the period as it scaled up its online certification business. In the current FY, its top line is estimated further growth over its FY24 performance as the company doubles down on its existing strategies.

Indian stock market posted strong gains on November 22 with benchmark indices recording their biggest single-day gains in more than five months amid buying across sectors and recovery in Adani group stocks. At close, the Sensex was up 1,961.32 points or 2.54 percent at 79,117.11, and the Nifty was up 557.35 points or 2.39 percent at 23,907.25.

Hyundai Motor India reported a soft quarter with revenue and EBITDA down 8% and 10% YoY, respectively, citing lower volumes and higher discounts. The company has guided for low-single digit industry growth, and Emkay Global Financials trims FY25E/26E/27E EPS by 2.5% each, maintaining a REDUCE rating with a target price of Rs1,750.

On Friday, Enviro Infra Engineers’ IPO became available for subscription. The issue will go up for bid until November 26 and includes an OFS of around Rs 78 crore and a new equity sale valued at Rs 572 crore. The business plans to use the net proceeds from the new offer to pay down debt, bolster working capital needs, and invest in EIEL Mathura Infra Engineers, a subsidiary.

Uno Minda posted strong Q2 results, beating estimates with a 6% EBITDA margin increase to 11.4%. Dan Bartlett, Walmart's Executive VP of Corporate Affairs, has been appointed to Flipkart's Board of Directors, bringing expertise in public policy, sustainability, and corporate strategy to the Indian e-commerce giant.
